The 207th Merseyside derby

Liverpool have moved five points clear of Everton in the race for Champions League qualification after a 1-0 win in the 207th Merseyside derby. A goal from derby debutant Fernando Torres made Liverpool pride of Merseyside after a 1-0 win over Everton. The Spaniard expertly slotted the ball beyond Tim Howard for the only goal of the game after just seven minutes. The match began amid the usual banter between both sets of supporters. The Kop spent the opening minutes reminding their city cousins they're 'not Scousers anymore' due to the Toffees' proposed relocation to Kirby.

It wasn't long before the Reds were on top on the pitch, too. Seven minutes, in fact. That's how long it took Torres to get Liverpool's 100th goal of the campaign.

The chance came after Xabi Alonso robbed Yakubu on the edge of the visitors' box before a Dirk Kuyt touch sent his strike partner through. Tim Howard made himself big but Torres gave him no chance with a cool finish into the bottom corner. The number nine has now scored in six consecutive home games, a club record he shares with Fred Pagnam (1919), Roger Hunt (1964), Ian Rush (1983) and Michael Owen (1999).

The second very nearly did come six minutes before the break when Gerrard, who'd just delighted the majority of Anfield with a chainsaw of a tackle on centre-back Phil Jagielka, smashed a 25-yard volley against the post.

Though i was not really impress with The Reds but 1-0 is still satisfying. We really should've added 2 to 3 more goals.

I could not hav forgotten him as he is the main reason why i supported liverpool! although he plays for newcastle now, lacks pace and way behind the england 1st team squad line-up but i can't hide my joy after seeing him scoring everytime.

Malaysian F1 Grand Prix (Sepang)

ever wondered wad my first post would be? well, here it is! im posting about my first ever trip to the malaysian grand prix which was held on the 23rd of march this year. well, woke up around 6am~ pack up and arrived at icsj around 7.50am
went to mcD for breakfast wid friends
ugh...cut da crap..i'll skip da bus trip and jump straight to the venue!
well..around 10am~ we reached da F1 village and got a chance to meet up some hot chicks and hot cars as well~ but it onli last for about er..15minutes? lol
after dat, we hav to walk all da way to our sitting position which is around the first corner of da main circuit.

okay okay~ u guys must be wondering am i crazy or wad for arriving so damn early at 10am whereas da actual race starts at 3pm~. exactly! wad are we suppose to do there? we cant go out of da circuit once we entered and da price of the food inside will make a hole in ur pocket! the onli thing i did there was sleeping as well as reading newspaper... well, there are some races like GP2, Super GT, MME going on while we were inside before the F1 race but it was so lame and boriing! =.=

THE RACE FINALLY STARTS! well, both the ferraris off to a good start~ massa was on pole position while kimi was second in da line up..during da race: disastrous pit stop for hamilton, massa spun off da track, no rain during da whole race, no car sliding in front of us =.=..sad sad~ i was hoping for some action on our side
well, nevertheless, kimi was superb during the entire race and takes the chequered flag in sepang! wtf..he didnt even wave at our side but hamilton and kovalainen did! but who cares~ i still support kimi! no! its not gay supporting a F1 driver..
in the end, ferrari fans hav at least something to cheer on this time but will still be wondering if they should check their engines and stuff so dat massa wouldn't be ill-tempered everytime..
