badmintonnn, futsaaaaal, pooooool ! that sums up my weeek, this week!

nolah, actually since the start of the new semester i've been playing these three sports every week. And yes, i consider pooling as a sport too!


Btw, my family received this huge shipment with lotss of foood all the way from Germany! Lots of food from candies to miscellaneous stuff. Chocolates, cookies, you name it. All made in Germany, from Germany, andd also the details are all in German language.wthh.

Thanks Finn for the stuffs although I think my sis would have said thank you on our behalf already but still thangue!

2 Days / 1 Night in Gopeng , RIVERBUG Jom Rafting!

Ya allah, it really has been a month since i really posted something.
What a month of december it has been! Sibu was something, the perak-gopeng trip was really something, and the countdown yesterday was really really really something!

I wanted to post about my 3 weeks stay at Sibu but i have way too many pictures and the post is gonna be long so i think i'll break it up into a few posts soon.
For now, it's the gopeng trip that's important.



29th and 30th of dec
got back to KL on the 28th at about 2am from sibu and actually the trip was supposed to be on 28th but thank god it was postponed to 29th. Yeah, imagine what will my face look like if the trip was really on the 28th. Okok, so i had almost 24hours of rest before i reboot myself up at 6am and waited for wei ming, hin leong, yu jin, nicholas, & alvin in the puduraya bus station.

The bus was supposed to be heading to batu gajah but we got down earlier at gopeng and walked to the riverbug office. Later, the guide brought us to the hills of kampar and there we were, unloaded all of our junks at 'Adeline Rest House'.

Went for a ride of our lives on the Riverbug vehicle before going for rafflesia trekking for 4whole hours. It was horrible and i never wanted to go for a rafflesia trekking with short socks, white shoes and short pants in my entire life. It was raining bloody heavily when we were halfway trekking the mountain forest. The leeches were not really a problem at that time but the mountain route was one hell of muddy, soggy trek.

Ish, forget the rafflesia trekking for now, had our dinner and then another nightmare which is the night walk. =.=
This is so not what i signed up for. This time, leeches were the problem. They were everywhere on my legs sucking my blood so happily. Wtf
Thinking that i will be much more comfortable not wearing socks while exploring the jungle again was very wrong indeed. ugh...thankfully i didn't got bitten by giant red ants, some of my friends were complaining that it was damn painful.
After the night walk, played a board game, talked and slept like no one's business in our chalet. It was f-ing cold when we got up in the morning.
I was bloated after breakfast but i never tried rafting before and i was really anticipating it. Put on white water rafting equipment, safety briefing will be given by guide. The rapids, the strong current, the water and of course the big rocks. It was really awesome and fun and breath taking! I was the only one who got thrown out of the raft and it was damn 'syok'! Haha, especially the part where i got the free massage from those rocks.


After rafting, we went to the so called spa in our resthouse and it was one hell of a gay moment. Checked out and the guide drove us back to gopeng town where we looked for buses back to KL. Unfortunately there were no buses here to KL in gopeng town so we took a lousy bus to medan gopeng which was further up to ipoh. From there, ate at a mamak and headed back to KL with body-aches everywhere.

and last but not least, Happy New Year to all brothers, sister, aunties, uncles, fathers, mothers, friends, blah blah, everyone!

seven days from the two months of holidays have passed and I'm starting to feel the effects of the long holidays since day one which is what we call BOREDOM..
slowly rotting at home..staring at my laptop and tv every single second..
well, at least there's still football and F1 telecast to fill up my time the past few days..
though i would really like to go out everyday but i hate driving ever since i got my license..
driving is so not fun and everytime i damaged parts of the car, i feel unease...
although driving is not fun, i still managed to force myself to drive on the 4th of november to mid valley with some kaki's just to watch the premiere screening of madagascar, escape 2 africa which will be coming out on 13th november..
GSC mid valley was soo crowded and unorganized but still with abit of miracle, few of my friends and I managed to get some ticks..
the movie itself was a blast to be honest..it was funnier, much more stupid than madagascar..
overall, i'll giv a 8.5/10 rating

okay okay...so wad have i been doin during the holidays? instead of rotting at home, i went for my very first visit to redang island. yeah...da island where everyone kept talking about for the past few years..

well well...the beach there was clear and the scenery was quite mind-blowing but the smell of diesel was everywhere during morning till afternoon. yeah..too many speedboats, motorboats dropping off passengers day by day
main reason for people going to these kinda islands? SNORKELING~
the only bad thing for me bout snorkeling is being aware on whats around you for most of the time. i almost had a heart-attack when i saw jellyfishes and swordfishes swimming right in front of me...i dun wanna get stung nor stabbed T.T
the beach was also full with rock-solid-dead corals! therefore, everytime i wanna enjoy sinking both my foot into the sea, i'll have to get pass these limestones...wtheck

3 days and 2 nights as a holiday is definitely not enough..if i do have a chance again...i'll certainly spend at least 4days there! hopefully at dat time there will be less jellyfishes and more corals~ ngek ngek
